Brian Lackey
is a PGA member and the Head Teaching Professional at the JWGA. He has been in the golf business since 1996. Brian began studying the golf swing in college and developed an unmatched passion for teaching the game of golf. He is a graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he played on the golf team and earned a bachelors degree in Sports Administration. Brian came to the JWGA after claiming the 2002 Tri-Cities Chapter Teacher of the Year Award. The knowledge and experience he attained since coming to the JWGA has allowed him to also add the Middle Tennessee Teacher of the Year and the Tennessee Section Teacher of the Year Awards to his list of accolades. He has taught players on all levels from beginners to mini-tour players, and many of his junior students have gone on to play at the collegiate level. Brian has a mature knowledge of the golf swing and is very excited to be a part of the JWGA.
Sarah Jacobs  is the newest addition to the teaching staff at the Johnny Warren Golf Academy. She is a current member of the Duramed Futures Tour, which is the official developmental tour of the LPGA. She also has played at the highest level, receiving two LPGA sponsor exemptions into the 2004 and 2006 Franklin American Mortgage Championships. Sarah played college golf at Vanderbilt University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in child development. While at Vanderbilt she was named to the NCAA All American Team and was also a First Team All SEC selection. She is currently the only female golfer to hold a Tennessee State Amateur title and Tennessee State Open title in the same year. As a student of Johnny Warren since 1994, she has a great understanding of his teaching philosophy and a passion for helping golfers of all ages and ability levels.
